Community Quick Response Grants 2026-2027

The Community Quick Response Grants program is governed by Noosa Council’s Community Grants Policy. You must read the Community Quick Response Guidelines 2026-27 thoroughly to confirm your not-for-profit organisation’s eligibility and to understand the application requirements and funding stages.

Key Dates

Round opens: 1st July 2026

Round closes: Once all available grant funds have been expended (or 30th June 2027 - whichever occurs first)

Funding Notification: Within 30 days of application submission

Funding available: 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027

Acquittal due: Within 30 days of completing project

We strongly recommend that you consult with a Council Community Development Officer, Cultural Development Officer or Sports Liaison Officer prior to commencing your application. They can help you prepare your case for funding and are able to bring any other funding opportunities to your attention.

Not-for-profit organisations can apply for this grant provided they: 

• Are a legal not-for-profit entity
  • an incorporated community organisation,
  • a company limited by guarantee,
  • a non-trading/non-distributing co-operative,
  • an Indigenous corporation
• Have an active ABN 
• Have a bank account in the name of the legal entity 
• Comply with all governance and financial requirements of the State and Commonwealth as at the closing date for the grant program 
• Have appropriate insurances 
• Have no debt to Council, or have an active payment arrangement with Council 
• Have successfully acquitted any previous Council grants 
• Can demonstrate that the project to be funded benefits Noosa Shire residents
